Senior Adult

Senior Adults are an important and active part of the FBC family. We place a great value on all our Senior Adults. They are committed to serving in whatever area needed, such as teachers, committee members, volunteers, choir or just about anything else that needs a touch of God’s love. Titus 1:7 instructs us to share the knowledge we have gained.

Our seniors have an abundance of wisdom to pass along and they have something special that many of our members are lacking, years of experience. By sharing their lives, people are bless and encouraged to live the Christian life with patient endurance.

Our Objective is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ by providing a ministry of Bible study, worship, care and encouragement.

Sunday School is the central focus of our ministry. Sunday morning activities offer times of fellowship, singing of hymns, Bible study, and prayer. Departments and classes provide a place where lasting friendships are formed. We offer men’s, women’s and couples classes. Come join us each Sunday at 10:15am.

Banquets, trips and conferences are scheduled throughout the entire year. Our members are encouraged to invite friends or family to join them. We take a variety of one day and extended trips to places like Dallas Music Hall, Branson, MO., the Smokey Mountains, and Myrtle Beach, SC. For more information call the church office.

The BennAt Mullen Bridge Ministry

The Bridge Ministry seeks to be a caring, loving outreach to the widows and widowers of FBC. Nine individual areas are being developed to provide friendly visits, minor home care, transportation if needed, planned car checks, friendly telephone calls, cards of remembrance, assistance for the young and new widow, and activities with the youth of our church. The Biblical admonition for the deacons, and the church body at large, to care for the widows and widowers presents an exciting opportunity for blessings for all.
