Welcome to First Baptist Nacogdoches! We are so excited that you are interested in checking out our church. We know that visiting a new place can be a little scary and so we want to do everything to ease your concerns before you even pull into the parking lot. Below you'll find information about location & parking, what our services are like, Sunday School, what people wear, childcare & nursery and more!

Location & Parking

First Baptist Nacogdoches is located just a few blocks north of historic downtown Nacogdoches at 411 North Street. Visitor parking spots are available in our main south parking lot (the big one). Look for one of our parking lot crew either walking the parking lot or driving around in golf carts if you need directions for where to park.
Our smaller parking lot located on the North side of the Sanctuary is reserved for our senior adults and physically challenged individuals. This lot offers the closest access to the Sanctuary elevator.
Once parked, volunteers are stationed at the entrances to the church building. From there they can direct you to where you need to go!

Worship Services

We have two Sunday Morning Worship Services at 9:00am and 11:15am.

At 9:00am we have our blended style service led by our Celebration Choir and Orchestra. This is a mix of hymns, praise choruses, choral anthems, drama, and more.

At 11:15am is our contemporary style service. The atmosphere is laid-back, but still focused on scriptural truth and honest worship. Modern worship songs together with classic hymns are led by our praise band of volunteers from the congregation who have a desire to serve The Living God through music.

Sunday School

10:15am - We view Sunday School as an integral part of getting involved at First Baptist. We offer classes for all ages and groups. Visit an Information Desk or talk to a greeter or staff member for help finding the right class for you!

What Do People Wear?

This is always a big question. At First Baptist you will see people dressed in suits and ties, jeans and polos, and shorts and t-shirts. Dress is not a concern here. We just want you here worshiping our God with us!

What About Childcare and Nursery?

We have an incredible Children's Building that both kids and parents will love! For the safety of our children, we offer a secure electronic check-in system. If you are visiting First Baptist for the first time, please plan to come a little early to register your child in the system. Registration is available for first-time guests at one of our Children's Building Welcome Desks and only takes a few minutes of your time!

Our nursery is available during all regular activities throughout the year and is staffed with screened, experienced, caring workers and volunteers!
