Five hundred years ago, Martin Luther wrote the 16th century equivalent of a Facebook post when he nailed his “95 Theses” to the door of the Wittenberg Castle Church in Germany. That event began a radical change in what people understood about what it means to be a Christian. Today, almost everything we know about Christianity is impacted by the events that followed Luther’s post. Now, five hundred years later, are the foundations of our faith still firm? Is our “version” of  Christianity grounded in the Christianity Jesus taught and the first century church practiced?

In this message series, we will look at the five pillars of our faith that were reconfirmed in the 1500’s, and we will learn how to safeguard those truths in our church and our lives today.
